San Marcos Holiday Events in 2022

The temperature is finally cooling off and the holidays are approaching. We can’t be more excited at Texas Auto Center. There’s a lot to enjoy around San Marcos during the holidays, and we’re going to share the events we’re most excited about. Sights and Sounds of Christmas

This big family-friendly event returns in 2022. It’s fun for all ages and includes so much to see and do. Just some of the great things you’ll find at the Sights and Sounds of Christmas Festival include a petting zoo, carnival rides, and lots of great food, including holiday favorites like hot chocolate and apple cider! There will be live performances, a gift shop, and an adults-only lounge where you can get into the “spirits” of the season. The event happens at San Maros Plaza Park starting on December 1st!

Christmas Market Days

Meet the big man himself at Christmas Market Days on December 15th. The Christmas Market will include vendors, food, music, crafts, and much more. Bring the kids to pose for pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus! There will be a raffle and entry is one unwrapped gift for the Toy Drive! You’ll be supporting local kids and get the chance to one of the prizes donated by the vendors. So get ready to find some unique gifts and enjoy the Christmas spirit with the whole family.

Art Squared Arts Market

While not an exclusively holiday event, you can be sure the Art Squared Arts Market will be quite festive when it opens on December 10th. This is an opportunity for those looking for unique gifts to find the perfect something for everyone on their list. You can enjoy the standard Arts Market experience with live music, a free kid’s arts and crafts booth, and live demonstrations along with a food drive and a visit from Santa himself. You’ll find it downtown on the Square at the Hayes County Courthouse.
